Viewing Attendance Change History

Viewing attendance change history from the Student Profile enables you to verify student attendance is accurate. You can see any changes that were made to a student's record to determine the change made and by whom. For example, if you routinely run an attendance report and a student who displayed on the last attendance report is missing from the current one, you can view their attendance history to see what changes were made.

  1. Select Menu > Administrative Access > Student.
  2. Select Student Profile under Features.

    You see the Student Profile for the first student listed alphabetically in the entity or for the last student whose profile you had open.

  3. Begin entering the student's name in the Student search field near the top left of the screen.

    Students with similar names appear in a drop-down list. If necessary, continue entering more of the student's name until it appears in the list.

  4. Select the student from the drop-down list.
    Expected Result

    You see the Student Profile for the student you selected.

  5. Select the Attendance tab group at the left of the screen.
  6. Select the Selected Year sub-tab.

    Alternatively, you could select the All Years sub-tab.

    You see a list of the student's absences organized by date.

  7. Click the Open icon to the left of the attendance record you wish to view.

    You see the General tab of the Student Attendance Details screen.

  8. Select the Student Attendance History tab.
    Expected Result

    You see a list of the changes made to the student's attendance record.
