If students in your class have not turned in certain assignments, you can mark those assignments as missing within the gradesheet. To begin, we’ll navigate to the Gradesheet feature within the Gradebook module. Let’s select the tile for the desired class we’ll be updating assignments for. Let’s expand the assignment we want to flag as missing and then select Enter Scoring Mode to enable the cells. We’ll check the Missing box for the appropriate student and then choose to exit the scoring mode to save the changes. If we wanted to flag any unscored assignments as missing and counted as zero, we can select the header of that assignment and then select Mass Score. Here, we can select the Mark Unscored as 0 and Missing radio button. Let’s save this selection. We’ll see that all the missing assignments have been updated. Now that you know how to mark gradebook assignments as missing, you can be sure that any missing assignments for your students can be identified appropriately.
