By customizing your reports, you can ensure that they are tailor made to exactly fit your needs! That way you’re able to find the information you need, laid out in a way that is most helpful to you. This process begins by navigating to the Report Manager in the Reporting module. The options found on this screen allow us to create these templates and save them for future use. The tabs you see on the left are different modules. We'd like to make updates and changes to our Birthday Name List report. From here, we’ll continue on to the Report Designer. We’ll notice that this report has the name of the entity placed in the top right of the Page Header line as well as the name of the report in the center. Where these objects are positioned will determine how they will display when we run this report. The data panel holds all the information that we can pull into our report. The area of the report we’ve selected determines the information that appears here, and thus the information we can swap in and out of our report. Under the Special Fields is where we can add additional fields, such as Page Numbers into our Page Footer. If we highlight a line, such as Header 1, we can change the formatting and properties of that row. If we had selected a field, like Full Name, we can change the formatting and properties of that field. The formatting and properties allow us to customize the look of the report by changing position, colors, fonts, and much more! Once our report is set to our liking, we can go ahead and run the report. With the Report Manager, the customization possibilities are endless, and you can make as many changes as needed to your reports.
