Attaching files to a gradebook assignment enables you to add attachments to assignments if students need additional documentation or other resources to complete the assignment, such as a reference table or hard copy of the assignment. To begin this process we can head to the Assignments feature within the Gradebook module. If you’re taken to the gradesheet for a particular class, you can use the Class List option at the top right and then select the tile for the appropriate class. We can then select the assignment we want to add an attachment for. Then we can select the Attachments tab on the left to add an attachment, and click Add Attachment near the top right of the screen. Now we can click the Select Files option or drag and drop our file. We now need to identify the Attachment Type. For our example we can leave it as Default. If we’d like, we can specify a Comment about the assignment. If we select the Show in Family / Student Access option, students and guardians will be able to view this attachment as well. Once we save, we return to the Attachments tab where we can see the attachment that has been added to the assignment. Now that you know how to attach files to a gradebook assignment, you will be able to add attachments to assignments quick and easy.
