Parent/Guardian Order
Each family is made of one or more guardians; the guardian who is listed first is considered the primary guardian for the family. If you wish, you may reorder the guardians so another individual is considered the primary guardian. For example, if you find out that Mary's mother has recently chosen to be a stay-at-home parent, while her father continues to work full-time, you can update Mary's mother as her primary guardian, as she will now be more available than Mary's father.

Today I'm going to show you how to update the order of guardians attached to a student. To do this, we're going to navigate to the Student Profile. Once we have identified the student that we would like to make changes to, we can then select the Family tab group. From here we can select Family. We would like to move the student's mother to position one within the Family 1. To do this, we need to select Reorder Guardians. To reorder the guardians, you can click on the arrows to move the guardian position or you can drag and drop the guardian into the position that you would like. Once you have the guardians in the order that you would like, you can select Save. We can now see that the student's mother has been moved to the position one within the family. And it's as easy as that to reorder guardians within a family.
